OzHarvest is proud to be the official charity partner for MasterChef Live, the ultimate foodie's event of the year!

The event will run from 7-9 October 2011 at the Royal Hall of Industries and Hordern Pavilion, Moore Park. MasterChef live will provide food lovers an opportunity to cook, learn, eat and shop, while mingling with their favourite chefs, judges and contestants from MasterChef.

Did you know that OzHarvest collects all excess food from the television series MasterChef? Our founder and CEO Ronni Kahn also appeared as a special guest on the show with the Dalai Lama this year.

- Budget Beaters:
Friday, 7th October from 11.00am – 11.30am at the Spiral Foods Organic Stage. Learn How to plan a menu to save time and money, and about using leftovers to save food being wasted

- Food for health, growth and learning:
Sunday, 9th October from 12.45pm – 1.15pm at the Grill a Chef stage . Parents will be invited to ask questions about children's nutrition.

'HARVEST' – Enjoy tasting boutique wines produced and bottled for OzHarvest by Justin McNamee & Justin McCarthy (or JusMac squared). All proceeds from these wines will be donated to OzHarvest.

AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF:

Join us for a cooking demonstration and tastings on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 2 – 4pm when SOMER SIVRIOGLU – our wonderful Ambassador from Efendy Restaurant/mezebar (the most famous Turkish restaurant in Sydney) will be demonstrating how to make his famous tomato ezme or eggplant salad with fresh pide!!
